Pintxos Workshop The gastronomic relevance of the pintxo, also known as miniature cuisine, is due in great part to the Basque Country and its traditions. In the early 20th Century small taverns appeared in the Basque Country, places to share the country’s best ciders and wines
together with traditional foods in an informal and popular atmosphere. Following the example of the cider-makers, bite-sized toothpick foods known as pintxos were served to counter the excesses caused by drinking.
Cider houses and taverns are and have always been a cultural legacy in the Basque Country. A legacy that this activity wishes to conserve and convert into a meeting place of the past with the present, where culture and relations can come together. For groups interested in this appetizing gastronomic art, this teambuilding activity offers the chance to participate in its pintxos workshop. An entertaining activity that forms part of our country’s culture, designed to teach and be enjoyed at the same time. TECHNICAL DATA

Groups find themselves suddenly immersed in a totally new activity producing extraordinary results and fostering a strong sense of non-verbal communication in an extremely enjoyable way with surprising results.
PERCUSSION WORKSHOP Why the "Jembe" drum? The rhythm of the drums connects with everyone, without exception. In the 90's it took the world by storm, because in spite of its extreme complexity, it can be learned very quickly at a basic level. The drum has always been a primary tool of communication in every civilization and every continent across the globe.
The one we use is the “Jembe drum from western Africa, more specifically the Mandinka area, now Mali-Guinea. These "Jembes" come from an arts and craft company from Bamako, Mali, which carries out environmental reforestation as well as socio-cultural programmes.

Human Towers – Castellers is based on one of the most important Catalan traditions: Castells. This word, translated into English, means castle, and consists of the construction of humantowers. A lot of people is needed to attain this objective, and it is very important that all of them communicate, cooperate and work together in to get the final success.
The event will start by a demonstration of a group of castellers so that participants can get familiar with what they are going to do. After this first introduction, it will be the time to get into action. We will divide participants into teams in order to carry out a practice period, where they will be able to learn the main techniques, structures, etc. And once they control the basics, will be the moment for the final performance.
