tradivarius violins. Arguably one of the finest musical instruments ever made. The craftsmanship and the painstaking care given to wood selection and finishing served to make the Stradivarius the standard for which others strive. This all culminated in a hand crafted instrument that provides musical versatility and a stunningly beautiful sound. Valley City is committed to bringing that standard of quality to all of the projects we undertake. Since 1884, Valley City has stood for quality and innovation. While we have been quick to embrace new technologies, we have remained faithful to the ideals of traditional wood craftsmanship. History has shown that our unique combination of high quality products, well honed processes and a highly skilled team allow us to successfully deliver projects right on time. This ultimately defines value for our customers.

n order for Universities to attract and retain the best and brightest researchers they need to provide something special; research laboratories that can meet their explicit needs and their stringent standards. Valley City understands this and realizes that our custom laboratory furniture can be an integral part of a University’s recruiting. As a customer you not only get to enjoy the benefits of our custom laboratory furniture, you get to experience our unique Factory Direct sales approach. Because of our Factory Direct sales approach, you obtain all services from Valley City personnel: no middlemen, no sub contracting, no finger pointing. The success of our program is reflected in our customer list, a veritable “who’s who” in the University research community.

Courtroom Furnishings

W

e create beautiful custom seating for courthouses throughout North America. The real challenge of any courthouse seating project is satisfying a designer’s vision. Valley City meets this challenge by understanding the functional and aesthetic relationship between the interior architecture and our seating. Each of the custom seating projects we undertake is delivered using our Factory Direct approach. This unique approach ensures that all of the critical steps are handled by Valley City personnel, including pre-contract services, project management, design engineering, production, installation, close out and warranty. Impeccable engineering and time honored wood craftsmanship are just a part of Valley City’s special strengths.

Worship

Worship Furnishings

O

ne of the founding products of Valley City is seating for places of worship. Since 1884 we have been working along with architects and owners striving to balance the needs of the people with the needs of the building design. This is achieved by our dedicated project managers working closely with our highly skilled craftsman to ensure your custom seating arrives exactly as and when planned. Those seemingly endless rows of curved seating pose a fascinating manufacturing challenge. CAD can help with design but no machine to date can custom-build those curves. The slopes of floor and seat backs alone represent major complexities. Combined with the subtle change in radius for every single row, only sheer hand-work on the part of very experienced craftspeople can achieve a successful result. If you want to be completely sure, place your confidence in the people at Valley City.

It has been our pleasure to work with Valley City Manufacturing on the construction and installation of the curved pews for our new church auditorium. These pews exemplify quality craftsmanship, and we expect to enjoy them for many years to come. Dr. Jack Trieber, Pastor Project - North Valley Baptist Church, California

Valley City’s commitment at the outset to delivery was essential to making this project work. The shop drawings, samples and mockups were excellent; and their timely submission kept the project moving. Your management team worked very cooperatively with us in coordinating deliveries. Your field installation team was excellent. David Shrestinian, Senior Project Manager Beacon Skanska Construction Company Project - Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Renovation of Building 56 Laboratory Casework

Fabrication and delivery schedules were set early in conjunction with the project schedule and were held by your team. All were quick to respond to either owner changes or field conditions and none impacted the progress of the work. To top it off, the quality of casework was excellent.
