In 2005 the Ontario government brought into law the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). The Customer Service Standards elements are mandated to be in place in all Ontario workplaces by January 2012. Other AODA standards will be mandated during the next few years. These include standards for Information and Communications, Transportation and Employment. The Coalition offers its members discounts on the necessary training and implementation aspects of compliance with these new laws.

Survey after survey* has validated that persons with disabilities are equally or more likely to be punctual, in attendance, loyal and in it for the long-term.
