EXPERIENCE IS FUNDAMENTAL

We don’t just prepare students for jobs; we prepare them for life after Idaho State. Idaho State offers an abundance of resources, including career and life-planning courses, internships, and research opportunities that can help you map out your future.

I attended the College of Western Idaho and received my Associate of Science with an emphasis on healthcare. I decided to transfer to Idaho State after discovering the ISU College of Pharmacy. What stuck out to me was the affordability, high residency match rate, and the age of the program — over 100 years old! Transferring

was easier than I expected; it was as simple as obtaining an ISU login then selecting my classes for my degree. So far, I enjoy being a student at ISU, especially for all the resources available. What made the transfer most rewarding is the staff. They are remarkable here, and they make it obvious that they want us all to succeed.

AN INVESTMENT WITH HUGE RETURNS

The cost of an education is so much more than tuition. At ISU, we understand the value here includes the cost of living, housing options, and more.

On-campus apartments are available to non-traditional students and students who have already completed their first year of college. With apartment living, you get to live in a community of students and their families from all over Idaho, the United States, and the world.

My transfer experience was nothing but the best. At my previous school, I was unable to take steps towards my goal of a career in the medical field, and ISU came to mind. I set up meetings with faculty and advisors to explore my options, and I chose nursing. The nursing advisors made sure I had all the resources to

help me be successful. When I arrived at ISU, I immediately felt at home. The atmosphere here is unmatched. I love attending all the athletic events as well as the events that go on throughout campus.

I am so grateful for my experience here at Idaho State and can’t wait to see what else is in store for me here.
