Jaden Klein, a senior piano performance major at Idaho State University, has studied piano for sixteen years and earned accolades such as being the winner of the 2022 Idaho State Civic Symphony Concerto Competition and runner-up in the 2024 Idaho Falls Symphony Young Artist Competition. Active in the ISU music community, she accompanies fellow students, participates in the ISU Concert Choir, teaches in the Piano Preparatory Program, and co-directs the Junior Piano Division of the ISU Summer Institute for Piano and Strings After graduating in 2025, Jaden plans to pursue a Master of Music in piano performance

Honors B.A. Anthropology, Minor Art History & GeoTechnology Meridian, ID

Abigail Card is pursuing an honors degree in Anthropology with minors in Art History and GeoTechnology She has worked as a research assistant at the Center for Archaeology, Materials, and Applied Spectroscopy (CAMAS) and as an Anthropology tutor at the University Tutoring Center. Her current research with the Belize Valley Archaeological Reconnaissance Project explores patterns in chultun burial sites in Belize Abby also mentors new students as an honors peer mentor for the University Honors Program After graduating in the spring, she plans to pursue a Master’s and Doctorate

Jayce Packer is a first-generation college student pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, maintaining a 3 96 GPA Outside the classroom, he has completed multiple internships, including one with Idaho National Laboratory, where he earned the 2023 Intern Project of the Year award for his Fraud Risk Assessment He continues to work at Idaho National Laboratory as a Planning and Financial Controls Analyst Jayce is excited to further his education at Idaho State University in the MBA program with an emphasis on project management

Callie Swallow graduated in December ‘24 with a Bachelor of Arts in Blended Early Childhood Education Named to the Idaho State University Dean’s List, she excelled in her studies while gaining hands-on experience working with young children Her time at the College of Technology and College of Education helped her refine her teaching style and develop a strong foundation in best practices After graduation, Callie plans to become a traveling homeschool teacher, combining her passion for early childhood education with the opportunity to create unique, enriching experiences for her students across the country

Corinne Deakin

B.S. Dental Hygiene | Pocatello, ID

Corinne Deakin is a dental hygiene student at Idaho State University, recognized for academic excellence and leadership, earning honors like the Zonta Women in Leadership Scholarship and multiple Dean’s List placements As President of ISU’s Student American Dental Hygienists’ Association, she leads initiatives such as Give Kids a Smile and “Teen Tooth Day,” promoting oral health and education Corinne also volunteers at the Pocatello Free Clinic and supports efforts addressing health equity and community well-being Her dedication to oral health and service exemplifies her commitment to creating a lasting impact in her field and community.

Sierra Condie

Doctor of Pharmacy | Shelley, ID

Sierra Condie is a 2025 Doctor of Pharmacy candidate completing clinical rotations in Reno, Nevada. A Shelley, Idaho native, she graduated summa cum laude from ISU in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology Sierra has held numerous leadership roles, including President of the ISU College of Pharmacy Student Senate and Interprofessional Education Chair Committed to community health, she has participated in outreach events, providing immunizations, screenings, and medication education With seven years of experience at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, Sierra has developed a strong foundation in hospital pharmacy practice and quality improvement

Xavier Christy is earning an Honors degree in Biology with a concentration in biomedical sciences, achieving a 4 0 GPA He is deeply engaged in research, exploring respiratory-related neural circuitry and showcasing his findings through his Honors Senior Thesis. On campus, he serves as a peer mentor for the University Honors Program and worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant, supporting academic success and student development Beyond academics, he demonstrates his commitment to the community by volunteering as a medical assistant at the Pocatello Free Clinic, providing compassionate care to underserved populations Xavier exemplifies academic excellence, a passion for healthcare, a dedication to research, and a strong commitment to service

Honors B.S. Nuclear and Mechanical Engineering | Idaho Falls, ID

Jaden Palmer is dual majoring in Nuclear and Mechanical Engineering Motivated by living in multiple rural areas, Jaden is committed to making clean energy accessible to all Jaden is a reactor twin analytics intern at Idaho National Laboratory, where he assists in developing advanced nuclear proliferation detection methods by using reactor physics and machine learning simulations Additionally, he holds two research positions at ISU, one directed at utilizing augmented reality for prosthesis rehabilitation and the other aimed at creating a novel radiation detection method During the summer of 2024, Jaden participated in the MIT Summer Research Program where he contributed to a virtual reality scene to dynamically display Earth Observation data

Pocatello native Kyle Ruud credits his hardworking parents for instilling a strong work ethic. After graduating high school, he served five years in the Marine Corps, excelling in the elite Presidential Detail and earning advanced certifications Following his service, Kyle worked in FBI security and discovered a passion for machining through ISU’s Computerized Machining Technology program, where he balances full-time work, school, and personal projects He aims to apply his skills in advanced manufacturing at the Idaho National Laboratory and is excited to soon become a father

Norra Cardillo is a graduate history student Her undergraduate education is in Visual Communication from the Savannah College of Art & Design Cardillo’s specialties include public and women ’ s history She hopes to combine her historical and artistic training to bring history to life in a modern and creative way She is currently working on research and development to identify female influence in early North America

Virginia Holmgren

Doctorate in Nursing Practice Psychiatric Mental Health | Boise, ID

Virginia Holmgren is a dedicated educator and lifelong learner with extensive experience as a Registered Nurse in critical care, substance abuse, and mental health settings She is also a Registered Respiratory Therapist with expertise in military transport and critical care As a Chief Master Sergeant in the Idaho Air National Guard, Virginia has completed two combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and currently leads the 124th Medical Group at Gowen Air Force Base She is committed to advancing mental health care for the veteran population and will graduate from the DNP Psych Mental Health program in May
