Are you looking for an adventurous career that will allow you to follow your true passion? As a student in the Outdoor Education program, you will have the opportunity to explore the outdoors by learning technical, handson skills related to outdoor activities and industries. Experiences include conservation projects, leadership projects, practical field experience and experiential skills. Students will become Wilderness First Aid certified and have the opportunity to earn additional certifications, thus making them highly sought out for careers.

As a student in the Sport Management program, you will engage in practical experiences in the field of sport and learn the day-to-day operations of being a coach. The coaching emphasis within the program strengthens students’ understanding of sport leadership, foundational movement theories, rehabilitation protocols, athletic injury prevention and safety, and coaching strategies. Students will graduate with the skills necessary to work within the athletic field and make a difference in the sports industry.
