The PROCESS

OVERVIEW Boudoir sessions take place in my Point Pleasant, NJ studio, which allows my clients to relax and feel at ease. I only hold one session per day so my focus for the day is on you only, which makes my clients feel taken care of and can translate into more beautiful and natural photos.

02 PLANNING AND PREPARATION Once you ’ ve booked, we’ll hop on Zoom for your planning appointment. This is when we’ll chat about all the details - from what to wear, to what to expect, to how you’ll get to enjoy your images. Let’s customize a session that will result in beautiful images that will be impactful and memorable!

03 SCHEDULING Boudoir sessions are scheduled on certain weekdays only so it‘s important to reach out well ahead of your desired session date to ensure availability. The day starts at 9:15am, includes an in-person Same Day Reveal & Ordering Appointment (that means you get to see your images on the same day as the shoot!) and wraps up around 3pm once your album design is finalized and you are ready to send to print!

04 ENJOY YOUR SESSION Arrive in your favorite yoga pants and prepare to be pampered! You‘ll have your hair and makeup done professionally by a member of our beauty team and once you ‘ re looking and feeling gorgeous, we‘ll start your session. I‘ll guide you through all the poses and you‘ll have the option of including three different looks

05 DESIGN YOUR HEIRLOOMS My favorite part of the entire experience: your Same Day Reveal and Ordering Appointment. After the session, you‘ll head out to lunch and when you return, your images will be ready for review. You‘ll see a pre-design of your boudoir album and choose the images/pages you‘d like to keep. Only purchase what you love, and you‘ll also receive digital files for all the images you choose for the album. So you can stare at them non-stop while you wait for the printed album! =)

If you ’ re transitioning to parenthood, I’d love to work with you again to capture your cute bump and new baby! I typically schedule maternity sessions between 30-34 weeks of pregnancy. Please reach out at the end of your 2nd trimester or early in your 3rd trimester to schedule.

newborn sessions

Newborn sessions take place within the first 2-3 weeks of birth to ensure those curly sleepy poses. Posed newborn sessions take place at my studio in Point Pleasant and lifestyle sessions take place in your home in Baby’s nursery or the master bedroom.

milestone sessions

That first year just flies by! Come back to the studio for milestone sessions to remember every stage! Offering tummy time, sitter, cake smash, and one year portraits.

family sessions

Children grow and change so fast so the annual family session is incredibly important for documenting each season. We photograph family sessions mainly from May through October to take advantage of the beautiful weather.

All of my portrait experiences are completely custom and designed to create beautiful artwork for your home, so I’ll want to talk about your vision and how you’d like to display your artwork. I offer both in-studio and lifestyle sessions, providing the flexibility to fit your session vision.

02 PLANNING AND PREPARATION Once you ’ ve booked, we ’ ll begin to craft your session. Because I believe your images should decorate the walls of your home, we plan your session with your home decor in mind! Let’s customize a session to match your taste. From choosing the color palette that will best complement your home to choosing outfits for each individual family member to scheduling the best session time, I’ll work with you to plan every detail of the session

03 SCHEDULING For portrait sessions, we’ll select your date upon booking so we give ourselves plenty of time to prepare. But if you ’ ve got a newborn on the way, I have a uniquely flexible booking plan: after you book I‘ll hold a spot in my calendar for you, and just send me a message within three days after your little one is born so I can put your name on my next available date!

04 ENJOY YOUR SESSION When your session day arrives, professional hair and makeup will be provided for you and I'll guide you through every pose and prompt, capturing classic portraits and candid moments, too!
