Welcome to an elegant approach to bathroom design. This very special range reflects Harrogate's unique style. The Yorkshire town became synonymous with its water thanks to the discovery of natural sulphur springs in 1571, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors from across Europe and growing it from a small village to a vibrant Victorian health cure destination.
The town motto is Arx Celebris Fontibus, which means ‘a citadel famous for its springs’. Inspired by its namesake, The Harrogate Collection combines bathing with an inspired feeling of well-being.
Our family business was already well-established by the time Harrogate visitor numbers peaked in the early 1900s. We worked with Thomas Crapper in the late nineteenth century to bring his plumbing and sanitation inventions to Yorkshire, and our commitment to innovation and design remains strong today.

The names of our product ranges reference pretty Nidderdale villages, as well as the Harrogate streets that were made for a perfect promenade after taking the waters.

VICTORIAN CHARM
First opened in 1897, the Turkish Baths in Harrogate remains one of the town's most popular attractions. This spectacular Victorian creation was originally one of many baths made in this ornate Moorish style. Today, it is the most well preserved and fully restored facility of its kind. Just like our bathing collections, the experience of the traditional Turkish Bath ritual promotes a sense of absolute cleanliness and total relaxation.

One of the key features of our traditional furniture is the construction of our carcasses. With our 22mm carcass and reinforced structure we excel over most of our competition offering superior rigidity and longevity.
Door Construction
We are one of the only bathroom furniture manufacturers to use a five piece door construction. This is the traditional way of building high quality furniture that emphasises the beautiful detail in our Harrogate furniture. Our 24mm thick doors have a premium feel. Paint Finish
Our furniture comes in three refined traditional colours that can be carried through with matching colours on WC seats, baths and bath panels, to give a complete look to your bathroom. Each piece is painted multiple times to give a rich colour that protects the furniture for years to come.

BATHROOM FURNITURE CARE GUIDE
On receiving your order all product must be checked visually for defects. Any defects should be reported within 3 working days. Installation of the product is regarded as acceptance of quality, any damage claims would not be accepted by the supplier.
The following care guide will help to ensure the longevity of your product.
1. All bathroom furniture is water resistant NOT waterproof
2. Should any of your items have a defect, please do not install as returns will not be accept once fitted.
3. Use a qualified person to install your units, as any issues relating to poor fitting will not be accepted by the supplier.
4. You have purchased a handmade and in some cases hand painted product. Therefore, you may see some slight imperfections which the supplier may deem as acceptable.
5. Please avoid direct sunlight as this will cause the painted surfaces to discolour.
6. Due to motion in transit, the cabinet doors and drawers may need to be adjusted after installation
7. Wall hung units must be secured back to the wall using the wall hanging brackets supplied.
8. When fixing to a stud or panelled wall, appropriate framework should be installed to support the basins and units.
9. Where units or worktops have been cut out for services, all raw edges MUST be sealed against water ingress.
TEMPERATURE, HUMIDITY, VENTILATION
Avoid excessive change in temperature, or installation in direct sunlight. Ensure the product is a reasonable distance away from a source of high humidity such as showers, baths, or steam appliances, to ensure the unit does not come into regular contact with water. We would advise an extractor fan to be installed in all bathrooms which include furniture to reduce the chance of water ingress damage. The extractor fan should be used every time that the shower/bath is used and should be left switched on for a sufficient time afterwards to allow for adequate ventilation. Ensure the fan has been correctly sized for the room in use. Ensure furniture is not installed in a wet room environment in which the unit can be submerged at any point.
WATER OUTLET CALIBRATION
Taps and other outlets cannot be calibrated through manufacturing to suit all basin types, and thus must be calibrated by an installer. Correct installation must not allow water to splash outside the internal bowl of a basin during normal use. A tap should have its flow reduced to allow a tap to be fully open without over splashing.
REGULAR INSPECTION OF HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Internal plumbing and waste systems should be checked regularly for leaks, at minimum biannually.
SPILLAGE
Any spillage must be immediately dealt with using a damp cloth and any residue wiped up with a dry cloth. Under no circumstance should water be aloud to stand on the surface of the product.
MELAMINE,
VINYL AND FOIL WRAPPED DOORS
Occasional marks, can in most cases, be removed with a soft damp cloth. More persistent marks can be removed using a nonsilicone-based furniture cleaner. Hot soapy water should be avoided. Once the mark is removed, the area should be wiped over with a damp cloth to remove any excess and dried with a soft clean cloth. On no account should solvent or an abrasive cleaner be used as permanent damage to the finish could take place.
HIGH GLOSS DOORS
Use a cleaning product not containing aggressive substances like acetone, alcohol, bleach etc. as those components could seriously damage the surface of the door. The best would be to use a soft cotton or micro fibre cloth with only water and a soft soap (containing a maximum 1% of liquid soap)
CARCASS COMPONENTS
Do not use polish on any surfaces. A damp cloth with soapy water will clean off most marks or spills. On no account should any spillage, even water, be allowed to lie of the surface. Bleaches, scouring pads, and multi-surface cleaners should not be used.
DRAWERS, RUNNERS, DOOR HINGES.
These should be wiped out with a damp soapy cloth and wiped dry with a soft cloth as necessary. The roller runners and hinges are lubricated and should not be cleaned with a degreasing agent as this will affect the action of the moving parts. Never lean on partially or fully opened doors and drawers in order to gain access to the units. The hinges are specified to adequately support the weight of the door, plus small additional weights such as wire accessories. It is advised that once the bathroom has been installed, you should check every six months that all screws on the hinges are tight.
WORKTOPS
Although the worktop is hard wearing, sharp objects will scratch, and excessive heat will scorch the surface. Care should be taken not to drop any heavy objects onto the worktop as the surface may crack. For cleaning, a damp soapy cloth with clean off most spills. Bleaches, scouring pads and multi-surface cleaners should not be used. Corrosive liquids and make-up should be wiped off immediately. On no account should any spillage, even water, be allowed to lie on the surface.
REGULATIONS
If it is your intention to remove and replace your bathroom fittings with ‘like for like’ units, then this is classed as ‘non-regulated’ and no building regulations would be required. However, building regulation approval may be required if the bathroom refurbishment involves altering the drainage or the internal layout within the dwelling to accommodate the new fitting such as a second bathroom. In this instance, we would advise you contact the building control department at your local authority to discuss the need for a formal building regulation application Macerator – current building regulations specify that a Sani pump small bore system can be fitted in a dwelling where there is also a normal gravity discharge W.C. It should not be the only W.C. facility. Electrical – remember that double pole isolating switches are required for all electrical points apart from special razor sockets. All work must conform to BS7671:2008 the current I.E.E. regulations.

Harrogate products are made using the highest quality materials, we strive to ensure all our products meet or exceed U.K. & European industry standards. With correct installation and care our products will give many years of service.
To meet the criteria of our guarantee please ensure all relevant Building regulations are observed and the products are used for there intended purpose. Where applicable follow installation instructions provided.
The guarantee covers manufacturing or material defects. In the event of a failure within the guarantee period, a free replacement or replacement part will be supplied. Liability is limited to the product and does not cover damage during installation or consequential loss.
We constantly work to improve our products, in some cases a product may become obsolete, if this occurs, we will offer the closest alternative in event of a failure under the guarantee.
Normal wear and tear, lime scale, and chemicals used during cleaning can cause damage and deterioration and this is not covered by the guarantee. Products should always be used in the way they are intended and not misused or abused.
We will not accept any claims for replacement if the product has been modified in any way other than shown within in the installation instructions.
Moving parts or parts which are likely to perish or wear over time with normal usage (such as rubber seals, ceramic disc valves, mixer cartridges and thermostatic valves) are not covered by our lifetime guarantee and are subject to a 1-year warranty. Beyond the warranty period these parts may be available for purchase.
All furniture is water resistant, and not waterproof, all care must be taken to avoid water ingress. Do not place within an area which may be subject to flooding (e.g. wet room environment). Any spillage must be immediately removed, under no circumstance should standing water be left. The room must be adequately ventilated to building regulations.
CLEANING
Unless otherwise stated, we recommend all products should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth with warm PH neutral soapy water only. The product must then be rinsed with clean water to dilute any soap, then polished and dried using a soft dry cloth, after every use.
HOW TO CLAIM UNDER OUR GUARANTEE
For products under 1-year old you must first contact your place of purchase. For products more than 1-year please contact us directly with your proof of purchase. We will endeavour to supply the replacement part / parts required, subject to exclusions. E&OE
Conditions of all guarantees
1. The guarantee applies to products purchased and installed within the U.K. & Eire
2. All products must be installed by qualified professionals and evidence of this will need to be provided to support any claim
3. Proof of purchase is required to support a claim
4. The product must be available for our inspection and should not be removed or destroyed without our consent. We may also request photographic evidence.
5. The product must be installed, cleaned, and used in accordance with our instructions and installed in line with good plumbing and electrical fitting practice e.g. flushing pipework before installation.
6. Some products are hand finished and may have minor imperfections. Furniture and some metallic finishes may be subject to colour change over time due to either natural ageing or the impact of direct sunlight. This is not considered to be a product failure, associated claims for damage will not be accepted.
7. Claims for damage caused by water ingress will not be accepted if the product is not properly maintained.
8. Claims for products not performing due to insufficient water pressure will not be accepted, all our brassware requires a minimum 0.5bar working pressure unless otherwise stated.
9. If a product is faulty due to a manufacturing or materials failure we will at our discretion, (a) repair, (b) supply a replacement product, (c) provide suitable part free of charge, or (d) refund at purchase price.
10. We will not be liable for the replacement of other products within the room as a result of any Harrogate Collection product replacement. We will also not be liable for the removal or damage of any other product while gaining access to the faulty product.
11. If a product is no longer in manufacture and we cannot supply the identical product, or suitable component, we will offer to replace with the nearest product from our range.
12. We may offer a site visit if deemed necessary, however a deposit will be taken in advance in the case the visit reveals the product not to be at fault.
13. The guarantee is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights
