WHAT IS THE IDEAL FOUNDATION? We are proud to launch the Ideal Foundation – established by a group of trustees from Ideal Electrical & the industry, the Ideal Foundation is committed to supporting New Zealanders and environmentally friendly energy solutions. In addition, the Ideal Foundation fosters education around energy efficiency, and supports like-minded initiatives & organisations. The Ideal Foundation was founded with 2 key aims in mind, to work with disadvantaged & vulnerable groups within our community and to protect the natural environment.

IMPACT OF THE IDEAL FOUNDATION The Ideal Foundation enables staff, suppliers, customers, and partners to create positive change beyond the organisation and have a real impact on our communities. The Foundation relies on a variety of activities to achieve this impact, including: Community-Focused Events The Foundation also integrates with existing communityfocused events, including Round the Bays, Pink Ribbon Breakfasts, and Loud Shirt Day.
Sustainable Energy The Ideal Foundation aims to discover new sustainable energy solutions, and is committed to promoting products which will aid in keeping New Zealand ‘clean and green’.
FOUNDATION STANDS Every branch will have a Foundation stand to display some of the Ideal Foundation items. Keep an eye out the next time you are in store.

THE KING DOWNLIGHT Kiwi icon Mike King has identified the problem and instigated the I Am Hope Youth Ambassador Program. This nationwide program hopes to put ambassadors in schools to act as a trusted pathway to professional help. The Ideal Foundation, supported by Philips Lighting, is behind Mike and his focus on Kiwi kids. Proceeds from this fitting go to the Ideal Foundation, which supports Mike and his vision of youth ambassadors.
