Brand Guidelines

This guidline contains all you need to know regarding our visual language and how it schould be implemented.

The guidline offers practical knowledge and rules that needs to be applied so we can ensure consistensy throughout all our touchpoints and marketing material.

And the freespace is the same allround the logo. This cant be altered or discarded.

Optical alignment when aligning our logo you need do respect the freespace.

The black version of our logo is used when we cant use our PMS Blue or need high contrast on light backgrounds and images.

Colour combination

Readability and contrast

Its important to maintain good visual contrast and readability. To the right you can see combinations that are allowed and also not allowed.

Our Dark Blue ( PMS533c ) schould be the base colour in everything we produce and then combined with a suitable accent or contrasting colour.

Typography

Our main typeface is Source Sans Pro. We use mainly use Semi bold for headlines, Bold can be used in curtain formats. Regular is used for written copy and body text.

Italic versions are mainly avoided but can be used to direct focus to a short line of text or “quote” Besides those scenarios. Its not allowed to use italic font.

How can a product with your company´s logo both build a brand, make you visible among competitors, and at the same time build relationships?

With a strategic choice of product and design, product media can give the recipient an idea of who you are and what your values are. A positive perception of the product gives a positive brand association, and helps to strengthen your brand.

Remember that a product is physical evidence and good marketing for your brand. Surveys show that 50% of people use a promotional product every single day, which means that your brand can be exposed to many recipients. Choosing product media that recipients use and care for increases visibility.

Guide for setting text

As a general rule when creating content or copy for print. All text needs to be left aligned.

To enure good readability and understanding of any text or information we create.

Leading is the space between the rowes of text. You can use between 1p-2pt for paragraphs and longer sentences of text.

Example

If you write a sentence with a size of 10pt the leading can be 11pt, 11.5pt or 12pt.

When writing, longer sentences of text such as descriptions, product text for our website we use regular sized letters (non Capital).

Capital Letters

Its best suited for large text communicating a short message or headline. Can be applied in both print and webb.

Star Symbol

Example on Usage

The star shape can be used as both a solid shape and oulined (stroke width) It can never be used or placed on it own. Allways in context with our logo and written text.

Exact stroke width is yet to be desided.

We strongly recomend using PMS 290 C on PMS 533 C when creating layouts and design.

*Using PMS 533 C on 290 C works, but these cases needs to be approved by our design department.

Depending on the layout, we can crop the star symbol to create movement and visual harmony.
