MYWAY: A NEW FRAGRANCE FROM GIORGIO ARMANI

“More than ever, I am convinced we should all be focusing on the vital importance of environmental issues. We cannot ignore the fact that the future for generations to come will depend on the choices that we make today.” – Giorgio Armani

Armani has thus showcased his spoken commitment to sustainability throughout the production of his new fragrance: MyWay. The creators worked in collaboration with the environmental NGO Fanamby to implement sustainability practice in their sourcing of ingredients, all without compromising the quality of the product. As MyWay is a complex scent - with unique notes of natural ingredients such as Calabrian Bergamot, Egyptian Orange Blossom, and Indian Jasmine - ensuring sustainability in production was no easy task.

Nonetheless, Armani ensured that the sourcing of MyWay’s key ingredient of Madagascan Vanilla prioritized suppliers that employ vulnerable people who are typically excluded from the labor market. Moreover, they have been working in collaboration with Fanamby, who ensure the revenues are directed toward growing local livelihoods, supporting producers who wish to diversify their crop yield by growing coffee and rice, and encouraging local entrepreneurship.
