POW’R COLOURS

1-2-3 and you have a new and very vibrant hair colour with IdHAIR POW´R. IdHAIR POW’R is a ready-to-use temporary colour perfect to be used at home or in the salon.

It contains five trendy colours: Lavender, Pink, Turquoise, Blue and Orange that can all be mixed together for totally unique styles.

All the colours are ammonia-free and do not require developers – it’s super easy to use and it doesn’t damage your hair.

For best results use POW’R on bleached hair – the lighter the base, the brighter the result! When using a cool POW’R tone the base should be as cool as possible. On darker hair the colour won’t look as bright but can create cool tones on darker hair too!

Wash your hair only when necessary.

Use gentle shampoos and conditioner.

Rinse with cool water. Warm water opens the hair’s cuticles, cool closes. Closed cuticles lock the colour in for longer.

Avoid sun exposure, chlorine and excessive heat styling. All these three speeds up colour loss.

POW’R colour is quick and easy to apply at home. Keep a tube of colour just in case you want a touch up.

GET CREATIVE WITH POW 1R COLOURs

RECREATE HILARY DUFF’S TURQUOISE HAIR Mix POW’R Turquoise with small amount of Pastelizer – mix well to ensure an even result. Apply the mixture to washed and toweldried hair. Make sure you have enough colour mixture and that you have covered all the hair. Leave in for 15-20 minutes depending on how quickly the colour starts to darken. Remember to use gloves.

For best results use POW’R on bleached hair – the lighter the base, the brighter the result!

LASTING COLOUR

Do not put too much stress on the hair: wash your hair only when needed preferably 3 times a week.

Gently massage the shampoo, rinse off and condition hair from mid-length to ends. Detangle your hair at least in the morning and before you go to sleep with a brush that’s suitable for extensions. Good way to keep your locks tangle free is to braid them loosely over night. Never use chemical treatment on extension hair and avoid damages caused by heat (use heat protection!), chlorine & sea water.

• First the hair is bleached with IdHAIR Extra White bleaching paste + 6% Ocean Blue booster that contains blue pigments that help control warm under tones.

• Then the hair is coloured with IdHAIR Hair Paint 10.8 + 3% booster (1:2) to create a cool blonde result. The colour effect is coloured with a mixture of IdHAIR Hair Paint 30g 10.0 + 5g 8.66 + 5 g 0.44 + 3% booster (1:2) to create a fun and asymmetric look

• Distribute IdHAIR Mé Beach Styler into damp hair and blow dry with ego Smart hair dryer this creates a good base for styling and makes hair easier to style.

• Part the hair into a horse shoe shape and pin hair lengths into the shape of “8” and spray IdHAIR Mé Dry Clean on the pinned sections. Use Big ego styling iron to warm the sections creating a strong shape and let cool.

• Once the pins are removed, work with IdHAIR Mé Spray Clay and a teasing brush to shape into desired style.

Golden hair colours are great with warm skin tones. If you have had blonde hair as a child it is likely that blonde hair colour will suit you as an adult too. If you have a warm skin tone, beware of too light or cool tones.

Human hair contains a thin, protective layer of lipids covalently bound to the cuticle that is comprised primarily of 18-MEA. It’s naturally present in all hair but the longer the hair is exposed to damaging factors like sun, heat styling and chemical treatment, the more it has lost it’s natural level of 18-MEA. This will weaken the cuticle layer which exposes the hair to damage and dryness.

Tips for “granny hair”

TIPS FOR CREA TING AND COVE RING UP THE GREY S.

CREATING PERFECT GREYS Try to make the base as light as possible and remove as much red pigment as achievable. Golden shades are ok but the lighter the base the better the result. A little warmth is nothing to be scared of.

Good IdHAIR HAIR PAINT colours for creating grey hair are 9/8, 10/8, 9/1 or 10/1. For neutral bases I use /8 colours and for little warmer bases /1 colours.

You can safely add 1/4 portion of the chosen colour 0/18 special colour. You can choose the 1.5% developer with the mixing ratio of 1:2. For example 40g 9/8 + 10g 0/18 + 100g 1.5% booster). This will result a cool silver blonde.

Deeper grey shades can be achieved with adding around 1-2g of colours 1/0, 1/8 or 2/17 to the mixture above. Careful mixing and quick apply. This boosts the colours ability to neutralize any warm tones left from bleaching.

Colour 4/17 is a great colour for neutralizing warm tones and for creating graphite shades for natural hair that hasn’t been coloured before.

GREY COVERAGE

Tips for perfect grey shades • Mixing ratio in neutralizing 1:2.

• Be sure to make enough mixture.

• Apply the colour immediately to towel dried hair

The natural golden shades /03 are excellent for grey coverage. One of my favorites is 9/03 + 6% developer - in most cases this doesn’t require any natural /0 colour for total coverage. The end result is lovely and soft wheat-like blonde. If you’d like to twist it up with a cooler nuance then add /8 violet colour to the mixture. For example 2 parts 9/03 + 1 part 9/8 + 6% developer.

TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS • • •

Be sure to make enough mixture.

Careful and even application.

You can add 5-10 minutes developing time for really resistant grey hair.

after bleaching and rinsing with water - do not wash the hair with shampoo before the colour.

Quick apply! The perfect shade of grey can be developed in just minutes. I personally apply the colour in the washing unit.

For really grey styles you need to let the colour develop for what seems a little too long, when the hair looks darker than the desired result. This will result a perfect grey.

BRIGHTEN WITH POW’R If the hair has metal residues and the copper permanent colour looks dull after washing then apply IdHAIR POW’R Orange in the washing unit to boost and brighten the colour.
