My goal with each session is to tell the story of your family. Looking at the camera and saying "cheese" is not going to cut it.

I aim to create art that your family will cherish. I believe there is nothing more inviting than seeing photographs of your loved ones displayed in your home. They are your little masterpieces!

Newborn Sessions

I am sure you have seen pictures of naked babies all curled up in a wooden bowl, wearing a cute knit hat, sleeping peacefully. Those pictures are great, but not what you are going to get with me. I take a lifestyle approach to photographing newborns.

I want to capture the interactions between you and your baby in your natural surroundings. It doesn't take long for those first few weeks at home to become a blur. You will be so happy you have these photos to help you remember those early days with your tiny new baby.

Family Sessions

My goal is to capture the unique personalities of each of your family members. I aim for natural expressions, so you will never hear me ask you to "say cheese." I will, however, run and jump around with your kids. In other words, the goal is to have FUN. When kids are having fun, they typically have big smiles on their faces. Success!

Senior Sessions

One day we wake up and realize that our little ones are growing up too fast, and that it's time to get some senior portraits taken! This session will showcase the almost-graduate as they prepare for the next adventure. We will capture their unique personality and let them shine.

what to wear

I recommend a neutral palette for newborn sessions. Think cream, gray, and navy. Cute swaddle blankets and a plain onesie will be great for the baby. Clothing choices for newborn sessions are a little different than for family sessions. You don't want patterns and colors worn by other family members taking away the spotlight from your new baby!

Clothing should be comfortable and represent your personality. I recommend having mom choose her outfit first and letting the rest of the family coordinate with her.

Colors should complement each other without matching perfectly. Patterns, textures, and pops of color are encouraged.

Logos and graphic tees should be avoided and short shorts or skirts are almost never a good idea. As a general rule for all sessions, try to avoid solid black or white (unless you are going for a formal look!). The stark contrast tends to be distracting.
