Idlewild Co. is a boutique paper goods company founded in 2010 by Katie Gastley. Katie has lent her artistic talents to such brands as: Martha Stewart Living, Penguin Children’s Books, Hugo Boss, Sonix, and Galison Publishers. What would become a nationally distributed stationery and gift line began with a pop-up at the Renegade Festival in McCarren Park, Brooklyn. Shoppers noticed her hand-painted Brooklyn neighborhood prints and asked if Katie would create wedding stationery based on the artwork- and she did! With a robust collection of hand-painted wedding suites under her belt, she expanded her work into a fully branded line of greeting cards that debuted at the National Stationery Show in 2012. In a few short years, the brand has grown roots and taken shape, selling through hundreds of stores across America and the globe.
Originally upstarted in Brooklyn New York, the shop and studio were relocated to the sunny shores of Vero Beach, Florida in 2013 where they operate and ship from today. Idlewild Co. goods can be found at fine brick-and-mortar locations across the globe.
