What’s Happening at Berks Nature

There’s a lot to do this summer at Berks Nature’s The Nature Place! Here’s just a sampling of the programs offered…

1 . Nocturnal Wonders.

On July 7 at 9pm for just $5 per person, take a walk in the dark to explore Angelica Creek Park's own brand of nightlife. Immerse yourself in nocturnal sights and sounds – from chirping insects, to hooting birds, to fluttering bats and more. End the night by swapping stories and roasting s'mores around Berks Nature's campfire. Bringing a flashlight or headlamp is recommended.

2. Fishing & Archery.

On July 20, join Berks Nature on a full-day drop-off adventure in Hamburg at Kaercher Creek Park. It’s the perfect day for young wilderness explorers. A state-certified fish and archery instructor will teach and provide oversight all day for $40 per person.

3. Pollinator Jubilee.

On Aug. 18 from 5-7pm, join in celebrating pollinators of all shapes and sizes with presentations by local experts Greisemer Bees and Charlie Randazzo, pollinator-themed games and treats, and a butterfly walk led by local author Nancy Littlefield.
