JOIN A STORYWALK® WITH SNOOPY

Through May 26, visitors to the Reading Public Museum’s Arboretum can enjoy a new adventure on the StoryWalk® trail with Charlie Brown’s famed companion, Snoopy. Inspired by Charles Schultz, written by Jason Cooper and illustrated by Vicki Scott, Shoot for the Moon, Snoopy! sees the canine prepare to travel to the moon. He quickly realizes, though, that training for space is hard work…especially when Peppermint Patty and Marcie decide to become his personal coaches. The book is based on the Peanuts partnership with NASA and coincides with the Museum’s featured exhibit, To the Moon: Snoopy Soars with NASA . Upon completing the walk, visitors can stop inside to request an activity bag. The Arboretum StoryWalk® is a collaboration between Berks County Public Libraries and the Reading Public Museum to bring together the joys of reading and the outdoors. Featured titles are bilingual stories that are periodically rotated to align with current Museum exhibitions.
