Explore flight, navigation, and NASA in this extensive interactive exhibition integrating the science and history behind airplanes, helicopters, rockets and other aircraft. Visitors will make paper airplanes and paper rockets, learning about aerodynamics, and test them for distance and air-dexterity in special “launch zones”, flying them to Beijing and Paris, or as far away as Saturn and Mars. The Robot Zoo

Robot Zoo reveals the magic of nature as a master engineer. Eight robot animals and more than a dozen hands-on activities illustrate fascinating real-life characteristics, such as how a chameleon changes colors, a giant squid propels itself and a fly walks on the ceiling. The larger-than-life-size animated robots also include a housefly with a 10-foot wingspread, a grasshopper, a bat and a giraffe whose head and neck alone stretch to 9 feet tall. Paula Poundstone is known for her smart, observational humor and a spontaneous wit that has become the stuff of legend. Paula can be heard weekly as the host of the comedy podcast, Nobody Listens to Paula Poundstone and as a regular panelist on NPR’s comedy news quiz, Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! Also an author, Poundstone’s second book, The Totally Unscientific Study Of The Search For Human Happiness was a semi-finalist for The Thurber Prize for American Humor, the highest recognition of the art of humor writing in the United States.
