GET THE GOODS SOUL SISTERS’ STUDIO

Soul Sisters’ Studio recently celebrated its first year in business. Heading into year two, owner Eva Stephens hopes more locals come enjoy the space, connect with others, learn something new and shop for something special.

Tell us about your journey to opening Soul Sisters’ Studio. The inspiration for Soul Sisters’ Studio came from my stays at a wellness center in the Berkshires. While there, I’d take a variety of classes, and always enjoyed buying unique gifts for myself and others in their gift shop. I would talk with my dear friends (my Soul Sisters!),

Lynn and Susan, about my desire to create a mini version of this space in the Lehigh Valley, and one day I finally said “it’s time!” Lynn helped bring my vision to life, and both Lynn and Susan continue to be an integral part of the studio. Lynn is our Fusion Mineral Paint vendor, and Susan recently became my studio assistant.

What would you say is the mission of Soul Sisters’ Studio?

To create a relaxing space that gives women the opportunity to step away from the busyness of day-to-day life, and reconnect with themselves. Whether that be strolling through the boutique looking for a special gift, sharing something they love with others or attending a class with friends. Honestly, it’s the space I wish I would have had when I was raising a family and needed some “me” time!

Describe the breakdown of your Emmaus studio space!

Downstairs is a boutique that offers items made mostly by women or curated from small businesses. Upstairs is our classroom space. We can accommodate up to 12 participants, which makes it the perfect size for both our teachers and the class participants. It’s a very cozy space, so sometimes our shoppers will wander upstairs and enjoy relaxing in our bay window chairs that overlook Emmaus.

Tell us about your product offerings!

In our boutique we offer a variety of women’s accessories such as purses, totes and jewelry. We have a great collection of self-care, bath and body, and spiritual gifts, and also wonderful products for the home that include candles, pottery, olive wood serving pieces and much more! Upstairs you can find our Fusion Mineral Paint products.

What kind of events do you host?

Because our studio is all about giving women the opportunity to share what they love with others, we offer an eclectic mix of classes and workshops. You can find a variety of arts and crafts, meditation, selfempowerment, intuition and mediumship events, and even food classes, such as charcuterie board workshops.
