Kim’s Healing Center
Kim Ng says she learned bodywork, massage and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from her grandfather. “My grandfather was an herbalist, a medicine man for the village,” she says. “I followed him around to treat patients in the 1960s.” She wanted to share her knowledge of alternative medicines and treatments with people in the U.S. after she moved here with her family, so she opened Kim’s Healing Center in 1989. Now the place in Easton offers a host of services, including tui na, a form of deep tissue massage. There’s also cupping, infrared sauna, reflexology, yoga, herbal teas and natural herbs and much more. Clients can join a membership program to score discounts.
