Tony DaRe worked at Geisinger Health Plan and Michigan M-Care for a few years when he realized it was the clients he served, not the insurance carriers, that he wanted to advocate for. In 2003 he founded BSI Corporate Benefits (BSI) with a mission to serve clients on both a human and financial level, and redefined the industry by positioning BSI as a consultant rather than a broker or agent.

Today, BSI is an independently owned, privately held employee benefits firm headquartered in the Lehigh Valley and run by an executive team with over 125 years of combined industry experience. Agency Principal and CEO DaRe and his 40 employees (70 percent of whom are female) share a passion for raising the bar for others to follow. Together, they have consistently delivered six-and seven-figure savings as well as best-in-class services to clients.

BSI distinguishes itself from other consulting firms in acting as a true partner to the over 170 corporations it serves in the U.S. and Canada.
