The new Cobra Commander has made his first move—all-out invasion of the Southeast Asian nation of Nanzhao, a center of the worldwide drug trade. As the world’s eyes turn toward the attack, G.I. Joe moves in to try and stop the invasion and they soon realize Cobra’s goals aren’t occupation—but annihilation! As the Joes hold back an assault team of B.A.T.s in Nanzhao, Scarlett and Mainframe instruct a pilot to eliminate a Cobra drone carrying a nuclear payload. This proves futile, as multiple nuclear explosions go off in the abandoned Nanzhaoese cities. As the Joes on the ground helplessly watch the mushroom clouds in the distance, Snake Eyes continues on his own mission…
