Do you need protection from 5G networks?

The industry is enthusiastic about the potential of the 5G global wireless network for the Internet of Things. At the same time a different market shows signifcant growth rates: Technology to block the 5G signals. Here is an overview of products that promise protection from wireless network radiation.

WHEN BROWSING THE INTERNET, one fnds that among the perceived dangers of 5G are DNA single and double strand breaks, oxidative damage, disruption of cell metabolism, increased blood brain barrier permeability, melatonin reduction, disruption to brain glucose metabolism, and generation of stress proteins.

If you are concerned about these side effects of wireless networks, there is a plethora of devices that promise to protect you from harmful radiation.

There is an app for that

Before you start to invest in shielding, you may want to fnd out how strong your personal radiation exposure actually is.

There are, of course, apps available that claim to serve as EMF detectors. They use the magnetometer which is integrated in any smartphone today. The digital compass is based on this sensor and allows for the phone to fnd the orientation in relation to the Earth’s magnetic feld. This makes the phone a pretty good compass, but not a very accurate instrument to measure the Electromagnetic feld (EMF).

Users report that apps like the “Electromagnetic Detector EMF” show dangerously high radiation levels from fridge magnets, but fail to detect anything from other appliances, electrical sockets or mobile devices. While it does not produce any accurate measurements, the app has a very colorful user interface and is fun to play around with.

EMF Meter

If you are serious about detecting radiation around you, you will have to invest in a proper radiofrequency meter like the Acoustimeter AM-10. This accurate RF measurement instrument provides LED light and LCD text displaying peak, peak hold, and average levels of radio frequency electromagnetic felds.

It has a digital readout which is sensitive from 0.02 V/m - 6.00 V/m, and True Average power 1 to 100,000 µW/m2 with an accuracy of +/-6 dB. Cell phone cases

Once you measure radiation levels around you, you will most probably fnd that the strongest EMF source is your own phone.

This is where cell phone cases like the “DefenderShield EMF Radiation Protection & RFID Blocker” come in.

At frst glance it looks like any anti-shock phone case, with thicker material on the four corners for impact protection. A detachable magnetic wallet case offers three credit card/ ID slots. DefenderShield claims that the case utilizes multi-layered, state-of-the-art radiation-shielding technology to block up to virtually 100% of harmful EMF cell phone radiation. The vegan leather exterior is resistive to scratching and staining.

Neutralizers, chips and diodes

If you fnd the shield cases too bulky or if you want to add an extra layer of protection, the market offers a number of stick-on neutralizers, diodes and chips.

One such product is the Q-Link Clear. According to the description on the website, you just have to affx it to a handheld device where it will come in contact with your body or grip while in use. When you then use your smart phone, tablet or game controller, the Q-Link Clear promises to focus and strengthen your biofeld.

This is supposed to happen through a special crystalline core in the 2 mm thick disc. Q-Link refers to it as Sympathetic Resonance Technology, programmed with an array of natural frequencies that resonate with the body’s natural energy frequencies.

Shungite bracelets

Shungite is a black, non-crystalline mineraloid consisting of 98% carbon. The main deposit is in Russia near the village of Shunga, from where it gets its name.

The mineral has been used as a folk medical treatment since the early 18th century, and Czar Peter the Great set up a spa in the region to make use of the water purifying properties of shungite.

Unlike the neutralizer chips, the Zorb Shungite bracelet comes with a wealth of scientifc explanation. The claim is that it not only shields from harmful electromagnetic frequencies from cell phones, computers, Wi-Fi, cell towers, or TVs, but also protects the wearer from negative energies of all kinds, including psychic protection.

This is backed by a testimonial from Kale University. It states that shungite has a unique molecular structure and forms clusters of 70-80 carbon molecules. These clusters are supposed to transmute the electromagnetic fields created by electronics to the same frequency as the earth’s magnetic feld, rendering them harmless. Women and cell phones

In 2017, researchers at Monash University in Australia surveyed nearly 200 women of ages 15 to 40. They found that a quarter had carried their smartphone tucked into their bra, with 15 percent doing so in the past week.

A 2013 report from Breastlink concluded that carrying a cell phone in your bra increases the risk of developing breast cancer before the age of 40. While this study looked at the cases of only four women, a rather small sample size, it’s still better to be safe than sorry.
