t age 92, Robert Aramburo Rosales became the oldest graduate of Colton High's class of 2014. On May 1st, dad received a special Veteran's diploma from the board of education. Thinking he was attending the school board meeting on another matter, dad was surprised to hear his name called out for this very special award. In total shock, he walked up to meet a gracious host of board members who presented him with this long awaited honor. It was a very emotional and moving moment that will long be a highlight in his life, and he still has a lot of life to live! Serving his country during WW2 was a proud moment for dad, but receiving his high school diploma was a dream come true! From dad's family, extended family and friends, "Congratulations, Yellow Jacket!"
