hese days if you tune into NBC4’s “Today in LA” morning news program for the latest updates on the weather forecast, you will notice the bright smile and warm personality of their meteorologist, Crystal Egger. She’s no stranger to the bipolar weather of the Inland Empire. In fact, Crystal is a Grand Terrace native and a Colton High School alumni. And everytime she gets the chance to get away from the newsroom, she comes back home. “Growing up in the Inland Empire has that small town feel,” she said. “It’s such a great community.” The 36-year-old mother of two has a distinguished resume under her belt. Egger graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from UC Santa Barbara and went on to complete the meteorology program at Mississippi State University with honors. She was awarded the American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval and the National Weather Association Seal of Approval. Eggers has previously worked for ABC, Fox, and the Weather Channel, where she reported on national
