ozens of residents stopped by Leno’s Ricos Tacos restaurant in Colton on Saturday December 20 for the sev-
enth annual Toy Drive organized by Seeds of Hope Outreach and the Colton and Loma Linda fireman wives association. The back of the Mexican food restaurant was utilized as a Santa Workshop. Children were able to
participate in arts and crafts activities and take photos with Santa Claus, while parents and volunteers assisted in gift-wrapping toys.

he newly established “Feed the Need” program led by Veronica Toledo held its launch at Chavez Park on Saturday,
December 20. Supplied with donated food items, hygiene supplies, and clothes, the upstart program demonstrated their compassion towards the homeless population. Any resident in need of basic supplies was invited by community
organizers for a hot meal and were allowed to pick up items that may help them get through this year’s cold winter season. Approximately 45-50 people that often pass Feed the Need on next page
n light of the Christmas season, the City of Colton is hosting For the Love of Christmas 2014 Holiday Home Tour . An event where residents are encouraged to participate by showcasing their holiday home decorations.
