he Kiwanis Club of East Rialto is sponsoring a Drowning Prevention and Safety Day April 5 . The event will be held from noon to 3 p..m. at the Tom Sawyer Swimming Pool at the Rialto Racquet and Fitness Center, 152 E. San Bernardino Avenue in Rialto. Check in begins at 11 am. Events include lifeguard rescue drills, water safety classes, swim lessons, a BBQ, raffles and more. While the event is free, reservations by March 31 are required.
