City of Colton Economic Development Manager Arthur Morgan.

olton’s Economic Development Manager Arthur Morgan is scheduled to speak at the Colton Area Museum, located at 380 N. La Cadena Avenue on Saturday, February 14 at 2:30pm. With many development projects on the horizon, Morgan will provide residents in attendance with an in-depth look at the business climate in Colton, as well as provide information on emerging plans for Colton’s future development in the city’s west end. Morgan—employed with the City of Colton since September 2010— is a seasoned developer whose work focuses on redevelopment, community development, and economic development. With an eye toward the vast spectrum of opportunities on the horizon, Morgan said a growing presence of retail, warehouse industrial and manufacturing are indicative of the City’s commitment to economic growth. “Available sites and a can-do attitude toward economic development make Colton attractive for successful relocation and for new enterprise,” explained Morgan. “While much has been accomplished, we recognize that much remains to be done.“ Councilmember Dr. Luis Gonzalez, also an employee at the Area Museum, said Morgan is a professional with a passion and commitment to the indusMorgan cont. on next page
