Spor ts officials sought for city’s Adult Spor ts Leagues and Tour naments

T

he City of San Parks, Bernardino Recreation and Community Services Department is now looking for sports officials for its Adult Sports Leagues and Tournaments. Sports include Adult Basketball, Adult Baseball, Adult Flag Football, and Adult Volleyball. Southern California Municipal Athletic Federation (S.C.M.A.F.) and/or California Interscholastic Federation (C.I.F.) certifications are desired. Volleyball officials will use the rules of the U.S Volleyball Association. The basketball league will meet Tuesday evenings, men’s flag football will meet on Saturday afternoons, and the coed volleyball league will meet Thursday evenings. Writing workshops at Rowe Librar y

he Inlandia Institute is pleased to announce the fourth year of the Creative Writing Workshop in partnership with the San Bernardino Public Library in San Bernardino. These free workshops will be held every other Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Rowe Branch Library at 108 E. Marshall Blvd The dates for this session will be February 13, February 27, March 13, and March 27.

Led by professional writers and writing instructors, the Inlandia Institute Creative Writing Workshops are designed to meet the needs of writers working in all genres at all levels. Allyson Jeffredo will be leading this series of workshops in San Bernardino.
