oin the City of Redlands from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 29, for the second annual Celebration of Healthy Living event in Ed Hales Park at State and Fifth streets in Historic Downtown Redlands. The event will be held in conjunction with the weekly Saturday Morning Farmers’ Market in the adjacent parking lot along Redlands Boulevard between Fifth and Sixth streets. Many local businesses and organizations dedicated to health and well-being as well as nutritional assistance will participate. Loma Linda University will offer information and assistance with medical sign-ups; the Energy Lab will have information about their local fitness studio; and the YMCA of Redlands will have information about their various programs for children and adults. With a live band, local artists, activities and the Saturday Morning Farmers’ Market right next door, this is a great way to spend your Saturday Morning! An exciting addition to services at both Market Night and the Certified Farmers’ Market is the ability to use SNAP/EBT/CalFresh benefits. Please drop by the City of Redlands’ booth (between Sixth and Seventh streets) during Downtown Market Night for more information.
