ever Stop Grinding Impact Founder and CEO and professional boxer Darious Harris was inducted into the Rialto Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday, Nov. 20 at Frisbee Park. Boxing is at the core of Harris, as he’s been training since he was just nine years old, when his father put him and his siblings into the sport. He also holds an impressive undefeated 6-0 professional boxing record, and he’s the 2015 California Golden Gloves State Champion.

RUSD students help make K eystone Cafe Food Pantr y opening a success

C

ompassion, community, and collaboration were on full display at the grand opening of the Rialto Unified School District’s Keystone Cafe Food Pantry. The Keystone Cafe Food Pantry officially opened on Nov. 19 at the Cesar Chavez/Dolores Huerta Center for Education with a drive-thru food distribution event. RUSD Nutrition Services coordinated the project and distributed more than 700 boxes of food, which included fresh produce, bread, cereal, pantry boxes, meats, cheeses, and more during the two-hour event.

The Keystone Cafe Food Pantry is a collaboration between RUSD Nutrition Services, the Career Technical Education department, and students in the international cuisine and catering class.
