RUSD teacher Lange honored at 30 Under 30 Awards

yler Lange enjoys giving back to Rialto, the community he grew up in as a special education teacher at Henry Elementary School in the Rialto Unified School District. For his commitment to service and excellence, he was recently honored as a 30 Under 30 Award recipient for the 47th Assembly District.

Lange and the other honorees were treated to an outdoor ceremony at San Bernardino Valley College on Dec. 11. Lange, 29, said he was surprised, but humbled by the award.

Tyler Lange (pictured center), a Henry Elementary School special education teacher, was honored at the 30 Under 30 Awards, hosted by Assembly Member Eloise Gómez Reyes (pictured to the right of Lange) on Dec. 11 at San Bernardino Valley College. Also there to celebrate the honorees were Frank Reyes, San Bernardino Community College District Trustee, Dr. Gwendolyn Dowdy-Rodgers, San Bernardino City Unified School District Board of Education President (far right), and Kim Carter, founder of the Time for Change Foundation. Lange is passionate about serving the community he grew up in as a teacher.
“It’s kind of difficult to put into words,” Lange responded. “I think it was humbling, but I would consider it a great honor.” This year’s event marked the fifth annual ceremony under Member Eloise Assembly Gomez-Reyes. The awards were Lange, cont. on next pg.
LA Dodger s Foundation, San Manuel spread holiday cheer to students

erner Elementary School students in Rialto were greeted with a holiday surprise from someone they’d never expect, Los Angeles Dodger Third Base Coach, Dino Ebel. Nearly 50 students gathered on Nov. 30 to hear Ebel read, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” written by Larry Harper as part of the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation LA Reads program.

Ebel delivered Los Angeles Dodgers branded gifts and books alongside volunteers and staff of the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, Rialto Unified School District and Think Together.
