Anudeep Chandra I IED Barcelona

Anudeep Chandra / TRD
Hi, i am Anudeep Chandra, i am 22 years old and I am from New Delhi, India. My journey with transportation design began in 2019 when i attended IED Barcelona to study transportation design at which i am currently studying my third year and will graduate in 2025.
My design ethos is based on the beauty of simplicity. I feel that removing superfluous and focusing on key parts results in designs that are both visually appealing and extremely useful.

01 Nebula
Polestar X dyson

THE IDEA
We wanted to create a minimalistic bike that represents Polestar and Dyson since they share the same D.N.A. The goal was to create a bike that emotionally attaches to the user.vv

Shaping
I started with conventional shapes but with the same minimal theme. My goal was to get a futuristic and simple design that would work with the brand value.

DEFINING
in the end i got a defining shape which volumetric and minimal at the same time, giving it a Tron-bike feeling. This is the design i went ahead with in the end.

Final Design

02 Puria Hyundai

The Idea
Puria in Korean is a combination of “pure” and “euphoria,” signifying the purity and excitement associated with driving a stylish and high-performance Korean car.
I wanted to create a futuristic and minimal design

SHAPING
I wanted to have fluidic design language but also mix it with the current design of The N-line that Hyundai offers now.
So i started drawing cubic minimal sketches which gave me that feeling.

Defining
After getting a shape i liked for the GT car, i continued with it and started adding details and other parts to it. In end it really looked very futuristic.

Final Design

03 Elliot SEAT

The Idea
This was a project i did with 4th Year students, we had to create mobility solutions for the elderly, It had to be small and compact so we thought of getting inspired by a indoor cycle which could be taken outside to move around and socialise.

Shaping
We sketched different proposals with the same idea of a compact cycle, we had an idea of using foot pressure to push the cycle ahead and in the end we decided to use the concept of the cycle for the final design.

Looking forward to working with you soon
