Oratoriul Salezian “Don Bosco” Bacau
The foundation is a non-governamental organisation, related to the Catholic church and following the principles of Saint Joan Bosco, occupying with care and education for children. Starting young in this field, being only fourteen at the time, I had the opportunity to work with children between ages 6 and 14, understanding the approach needed for each age and child. During my time, I had to entertain and play with the children, but also prepare educational and social activities that were meant to build their future perspectives. This experience was one of the most important ones during my teenage years, because it helped me shape into a sociable person that learned what teamwork, responsibility and patience means by following exact schedules and activities. The most interesting part was that every child came from a different background and family (some even orphans or with disabilities), challenging me to extend the ways I have to approach each one of them.
DIGITAL SKILLS
Microsof Word / Microsoft Powerpoint / Zoom / Skype / Google Drive / Instagram / Facebook / Tiktok / Gmail / Yahoo / Youtube
My volunteering was constant during the year, going every afternoon of the weekdays to help with the homework in the after-school facility and during the summers I had to participate into a one month full-day experience with 700 children. I was named also captain for teams that were composed not only by children, but also other volunteers like me and due to that experience, I learned what leadership means and that I enjoy the most when I work with teammates.
I am a charismatic person, always looking forward to different activities that make me want to push myself and test my limits. For several years I worked at a voluntary center where I learned the beauty of teamwork and the responsibilities you have when you work under pressure. I like to work with people and for people.
I am studying interior design as my main passion is art and architecture. Through my artistic studies I was able to develop my creative side and how to adapt to different work conditions based on the customer’s preferences. Before I studied interior design at IED, I was a student at UIC, Barcelona, where I studied 3 years of architecture. I decided to change profiles because I was more atrracted to the interiors and ambiance branch and it felt more suited for me and my taste. Both universities went along very well in my development, now being able to use advanced knowledge and skills to be more creative and solve different tasks, approach various situations and work in collaborative environments.
I do consider myself a hardworker, with the ambition to always be very good at what I am doing and also pleasing requests that I am asked. I have a strong character, honest and outgoing, characteristics that often helped me face victoriously obstacles, situations and people I met during my life.

In the beginning of my concept, I played with the three modular volumes I had to use to create the given space. The process was different each time, coming with different plans for the distrubution of functionality in the house. I wanted to separate the ‘public’ space from the ‘private’ one, so having that in mind, together with the passion of my client and the requirment to be a “fish-enthusiastic” place, I decided to use a big fishtank to do the separation of the house.
The fishtank is the main piece of the space, it shows the personality and passion of the client and also serves as a partition between spaces.
The patio at the Frederic Mares Museum, located in Barcelona, is a charming courtyard with a central fountain and surrounded by columns and arches. It featuresa mix of architectural styles and is home to a collection of sculptures, offering visitors a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. It gives a very pleasuring, relaxing and calm atmosphere, even when there are people around, you can still enjoy the surroundings.
What I felt was missing in the patio, was the intensity of the sunlight and the sunrays. The shadows casted by the trees create a quite dark space, during winter making it quite cold. The patio needed to have a “warmer” atmosphere in terms of light, an aspect that would improve the tranquility and comfort of the space.
I decided to create an installation that imitates the sunlight during the day and the moonlight during the night. The installation is attached through underground wires to the interior of the museum, where it is programmed to follow the light of the sun accordingly to the hours of the day and the intensity and colour of the sun, changing into the moon at night time. It has a big scale to give a sensation of actually being close to the sun or the moon regarding to their big dimensions.

For the structural distribution of the space, I decided to transform the space into a more game-like design, to be approachable to the concept and make it more playful to match the work of the people it is designated to. I took one of the most popular games during the 1980s, Pacman, and chose to create the walls and furniture acording to the game maze background.
Workspace project came with a new and interesting challenge that we had to apply in our own University. The project requires us to choose a client in the field of either arts & crafts or digital work, I choosing the second option and deciding to create a space designed for videogames testers. A game tester is someone who evaluates video games to identify bugs, glitches, and other issues before the game is released to the public. They play through the game extensively, intentionally trying to break it in order to find and document any problems that need to be fixed by the development team. For this to be done in an optimized way, there are requirements
PAC-MAN ORGANISATION
Firstly, I decided to keep the layout of the distribution fun and in theme with the workplace, creating shapes and flow inspired from the PacMan old school game. A couple of items from the furniture I considered would be nice to be designed mantaining the same circular shapes of the layout, so they won’t clash the distribution visually. The space has the following requirements to keep in mind:
Network infrastructure
• Testing environments & technology
Communication tools
High performance gadgets
• Relaxation space
Mini-bar area
• Intimate space
This project was created outside of University work. During the summer of 2023 I worked in an architecture office in my hometown Bacau, Romania, where I was assigned to create the interior design of the rooms in each different architecture style building the complex features. This project is currently built in Filipesti, a small town in the province of Bacau. The owner of the project wants to create a big complex which incoroporates different architectural styles for its hotel section, as well as a section of spa and relaxation, a section designated for a waterpark, an enormous labirinth which he plans to apply it to World Records Book, restaurants, children’s playground, and other features.
The three main buildings in which I worked for were named Alsace, Conac (Old Manor) and Turn (Tower). I chose one room from each building as they kept repeating the layout throughout the different floors that each hotel side has.
The architectural style of Alsace is distinctive and reflects the region’s rich history and cultural heritage. Alsace is a region in northeastern France, known for its picturesque villages, half-timbered houses, and charming countryside. The architectural style of Alsace is heavily influenced by both French and German traditions due to the region’s location on the border between France and Germany. This style was adopted by Romanian architects in constructing certain types of elegant and more traditional-looking buildings. Therefore, for the hotel room inspired by Alsace style, we opted for the specific wood structure that can be seen continuing from the outside in the inside of the space. The room is build
A Romanian “conac” refers to a traditional Romanian manor house or mansion, typically associated with the country’s aristocracy or wealthy landowners. The architectural style of a Romanian conac can vary depending on factors such as its location, historical period, and the influence of surrounding cultures. The designed room is different than the rest because the owner had this idea of keeping one window open to the bathroom as well as to the room, separating the room and bathroom with a matte-glass piece. The room is also a bit complicated to arrange in regards to design, but we manage to place elegant colours and elements that resemble a Manor contemporary house.
The architectural style of Romanian towers, particularly those from older periods, often reflects a blend of influences from various historical periods and cultural traditions. While specific features may vary depending on the region and the purpose of the tower, there are some common characteristics associated with traditional Romanian tower architecture that were previously mentioned. For this room I, together with the assigned architect of the project, we decided to give an old style aesthetic to the rooms, to make guests feel as if they were living in a real-life castle while residing in the hotel part of the Tower. Various elements from an older period of time were incorporated into the design.

CHARISMATIC PLAYFUL AVANT-GARDE EXPLORATION UNIQUENESS
The main idea of this project was to incorporate Ron Arad’s style and likes in terms of materials, design and concepts. Through his favourite materials to work with, we can definitely find the reflective materials and the concept of organicity and rawness of the textures and natural colours.
KEYWORDS:
• PLAYFUL: exploration, playful personality, lifestyle, unique spaces, creativity
RAWNESS: raw materials, untouched colours & textures
• REFLECTION: bigger space, more illuminated space, ambience
