This is a concept designed according to three modular volumes, measuring each 3.60 x 4.80 x 2.40 metres, to forge a functional and ethical space for an art collector, specifically a famous African art collector. Apart from assisting the general needs of a person, this space aims to implement serenity throughout the capsule. Moreover, the concept stems from the appreciation towards the cosmos, creating a space tailored for an art collector. Lastly, it blends the comfort and calmness of a private sanctuary while being physically and mentally immersed around the creative pieces, motivating and promoting positivity in the space and to the owner.

LUCID AND PARADOX DREAMS

INTERVENTION AT MUSEUM MARES

The installation merges the essence of the so-called subconscious mind, blinding the viewer with the depth of thoughts and emotions. In a tunnel, transporting and inviting viewers to weave their own tales and find solace in the shared experience of the human spirit’s bound less imagination.

FUNCTION

The purpose of my project/installation was to transform the space into a utopian scene where it feels like a dream. Hence, following that, I wanted to maintain a personal experience that would be projected only in the corresponding vision of the viewer. That was done by creating a luminous structure simulating a tunnel to an unrealistic world. In this tunnel, different colours and structures represent different states of mind. Simply the viewer should feel immersed in reality, where when they go to different parts of the museum, it will feel like it’s another world and/or coming back to the current state of the world.

This Explains the value of movement in this specfic workspace. Creating a workspace might be hectic sometimes since the space might be very choatic and with no organization. This is how i would imagine the space to be without a relation between work, and relaxation, in the chosen space.

In this case, this is how the space will be transformed not only with a physical wall, but creating a sense of relation between work and rest, where they can co-exist in the same space without negatively affecting each other.
