DAHAB
A Jewelry Making Co-Working Space
The design philosophy of Dahab, a thriving center for the convergence of craftspeople and designers, draws inspiration from the ancient Egyptian fascination with gold and jewels.
This collaborative area, which features large workstations furnished with state-of-theart equipment, elegantly blends functionality and aesthetics. Well thought-out layouts provide both private offices and common spaces for conversation and idea sharing. The room is flooded with natural light from the wide windows, creating a mood that is energizing. Color and personality are added with reclaimed wood and industrial accessories.
A store is located inside the co-working space with diverse jewelry designs that are proudly displayed in cabinets, providing a steady source of inspiration. Cozy places for group work encourage creativity, while private spaces enable concentrated work.

SIPS AND STORIES
A Cafe & Bakery
Nestled in the center of Palm Hills, New Giza, Cairo, Egypt, Sips and Stories Cafe & Bakery epitomizes organic living from its very core to its atmosphere. The fundamental principle of its concept is its dedication to provide customers with a dining experience made entirely of organic ingredients. Every item that is served exudes sustainability and freshness, which reflects the cafe’s commitment to encouraging eco-friendly eating and healthy lifestyles.
Upon entering Sips and Stories, visitors are welcomed with an environment that reflects the organic philosophy of the cafe. With its organic-shaped furniture, glowing glass ceiling that lets in natural light, and abundant internal vegetation that enlivens the surroundings, the design melds harmoniously with the natural world. The earthy color scheme and natural material choices add to the atmosphere, which is pleasant and peaceful and invites visitors to relax and enjoy each moment in balance with the surroundings. Sips and Stories Cafe & Bakery is a sanctuary where visitors may care for their bodies as well as their spirits, not merely a place to eat.

THE COMBO CUBES
An Ergonomics Project
This project asked us to build a 1:1 scale furniture piece out of cardboard and cardboard joineries—no glue—in order to explore the complex interplay between ergonomics and spatial design.
The goal was to create a piece of useful furniture that could be used for both personal hygiene and working, two daily need. The final design, which is meticulously designed to satisfy ergonomic criteria, skillfully combines form and function thanks to creative building techniques. Every component—from the height of the work surface to the chair contours— is carefully thought out to guarantee the best possible comfort and usability.
This method encourages sustainability while showcasing resourcefulness and inventiveness in the use of materials. In the end, the concept transforms ideas about cardboard’s possibilities in furniture design by demonstrating a tasteful mix of creativity, functionality, and environmental conscience.

THE ETHEREAL CRAFT HOUSE A House Renovation Project for Nani Marquina
This project is a house renovation for renowned rug designer Nani Marquina, and it is located on Carrer de Comtessa de Sobradiel. The idea centers on combining handiwork and natural materials to complement her own style, which embraces her love of earthy and natural aesthetics.
The earthy hues and warm design palette reflect Nani’s tastes and create a peaceful atmosphere. The utilization of Nani Marquina’s colorful rug collections, which serve as focal points to give the room personality, is essential to the design concept. These vibrant rugs communicate stories that reverberate throughout the house in addition to acting as beautiful accents.
The design focuses on the smooth transition from outside to inside, satisfying Nani’s love of sunshine and scenic vistas. Natural light pours in via large windows, making it difficult to tell what is within and what is outside.
