bic house Contest Talent Working / First classified In collaboration with Alessia Reali and Matteo Viscogliosi Graphic designer: Valerio De Luca
Bic house is a a new outfitting for BIC Lazio's Talent Working space. It comes from the suggestion of the house. The idea is to put in touch the domestic place and workspaces to make people, who work in them feel comfortable as if they were in their own home. This would make the sharing of ideas and projects easier.
Rome
Each of the areas obtained from preexisting closets represent a domestic space; the lights, on the ceiling or on tables make the Talent Working similar to an house. The cardboard of the chandeliers and of the texture created for the ceiling makes different spaces continuous, welcoming and comfortable.
Rome
Latina
In Latina, Talent Working was created based on the one in Rome. Some elements such as chairs, tables and the cardboard used for chandeliers and ceiling texture, are the same as the Rome headquarters.
The difference from Rome is that working areas are not divided. Here we can find an open space characterized by equiped pillars and a central counter designed to favour sharing.
Inter.art FUTURE BRANCH OFFICE New concept for Monte Dei Paschi di Siena’s future branch offices
Inter.art s a new concept for Monte Dei Paschi di Siena‘s branch offices. The bank it’s not considered only as a physical space but above all as the whole of social relations that take place there. If we analysed interactions in a bank we would discover that they are very similar to the ones in the city. They are both fortuitous and among strangers. So it results easy to associate the idea of a bank with the one of the city.

Inter.art creates branch offices as if they were a continuation of urban space: each branch will be a part of the city, deeply connected with it. It will be a piazza added to preexisting piazzas. A piazza is an open square or public place in a town, delimited by buildings, at the intersection of different streets. From this definition comes the second part of considerations about the project; some volumes were placed so as to create an empty central area, the square, and other empty areas, the ways.

Future branch offices will offer banking services and an extra banking service at the same time: each branch will house an art gallery. There will be exhibited artworks from Monte Dei Paschi Di Siena’s collection. Simultaneously the gallery will attract new customers and will entertain who is inside, becoming a distinguishing element to MPS.

The daily interaction
Touch-walls were designed for the wait. During the day it is possibile to play with other people in other branch offices connected to the same or different devices. Therefore they create interactions among customers and so among branches.
Motions done on touch-walls are saved and becoming like a public square. So the bank offers a service added to the one of gallery. It oversteps its boundaries becoming as a public square.
The nightime interaction
256 modi In collaboration with Alessandra Pierro and Livia Stacchini
A new concept for italian pizzeria restaurants. This project connects the act of sharing pizza with the act of sharing something, like a place or a moment, with people. This idea comes from an analysis of today's society characterized by frenzy and full-time working.
Space organisation
The space comes from the disposition of the "L "volumes. Thanks to this specific shape it is possible to obtain intersection and so sharing areas independently of the ways the volumes are placed. Using the big number of combinations we may insert the project in different architectures.
Four volumes for four selected functions. It is possible to find three different levels: the volumes, the space obtained from them and the central area. The latter connects the volumes wich it is the reason why it is considered as a metaphor of the act of sharing.

Four volumes, each for one of the four selected functions, and four different typologies of chipboard: LSL or Intrallam, OSB, discarded chipboard and rough chipboard. The name of the project comes from this choice of materials: 256 are all the ways in which it is possible to match different chipboards based on their repetition and position.
B.eco in collaboration with Matteo Viscogliosi
B.eco is the answer to the request of designing an almost hand-made object that could represent the philosophy of Maker Faire Roma. B.eco's purpose is to reinsert greenery in today's totally urbanized cities. Its creation is based on the desire of a future where new technologies will coexist with the natural world.
The product
B.eco it's at the same time both a seed-case and a key-case. The object contains a part with seeds which need to be planted and watered to make the plant grow. Minding it it will be easy thanks to the colorful part of the object that becomes a key-ring that you can take with you everywhere.
