Developed under licence of MIT’s mentoring service, VMS provides timely, tailored support and access to a team of industry experts relevant to the imminent needs of the ventures. The VMS has a goal to provide entrepreneurs with the tools, knowledge and network to boost their chance at success, whether they are serial entrepreneurs working on their next big thing or if they have no previous experience of starting a business. There are three stages to the Programme: Pre-Seed, Seed and Venture. At the Pre-Seed stage, the mentoring team works with entrepreneurs on market research, opportunity validation, business models and strategy. At the Seed stage, VMS team prepares startups for more actionable steps after market validation, building prototypes and launching a pilot.
Mentoring saves a lot of time for the mentees as it helps them to avoid some of the pitfalls. My contribution is to show them shortcuts or call out risks which they should be aware of, I think it makes their journey safer and faster

Incubator really makes sure that the people around the table mentoring are bringing the required expertise at any point in time. I think for mentees it’s really beneficial because they get what they need when they need it
