Q Where are you going to keep your Emmy®?

This International Emmy® Award is a collective success. It is thanks to the hard work of Anne Poiret, the whole documentary team, Cinétévé and France Télévisions that we won this prestigious award, so the Emmy® will be displayed in our office.

Q Tell us about the importance of winning an Emmy®?

Beyond the prestige such an award, it is a huge opportunity to shed the light on those young Iraqi children, long-term victims of ISIS in a devastated country. We must not forget about the 150 French children still being held prisoners in Syrian refugee camps.

Q What upcoming projects are you or would you like to be working on next?

Cinétévé dedicates documentaries to the Islamist radicalization phenomena and means to curb it. We are currently producing a documentary for France Télévisions, directed by Hélène Lam Trong, about the French children who still remain in camps, in Syria and for whom the French government is still struggling to repatriate, in spite of two condemnations by International Courts. Most of them were born in those camps and their families are waiting for them in France.
