ANNUAL RENDEZ-VOUS AT THE INTERNATIONAL EMMYS

Germany’s NRW Film and Media partnered with the International Academy for its 2022 edition of the NRW Annual Rendez-Vous at The International Emmys. A delegation of German officials representing the NRW region’s media authorities and television executives from leading German broadcasters, production companies and platforms, including Dr. Mark Speich, State Secretary for Federal, (European and International Affairs and Media), Frank-Dieter Freiling (ZDF), Leopold Hoesch (Broadview) and Philip Pratt (Amazon Studios), who attended the Academy’s weekend and Monday events, met Tuesday during a private luncheon at Hearst Tower with guests Jason Carroll (CNN), Melissa Fleming (United Nations), Stefan Borg (TV4 Sweden), Stephen Segaller (WNET) and Athanasios Dimadis (Association of Foreign Correspondents USA). International Academy President & CEO Bruce Paisner welcomed everyone and then kicked off the conversation.
