Q Where are you going to keep your Emmy®?

Our beautiful golden lady is going to sit with her other Emmy® friends in our trophy cabinet at Northern Pictures in Sydney, Australia. This year we also won three Primetime Emmys for Love on the Spectrum US and last year an International Emmy® for Kids scripted drama, Hardball. The five of them make a great golden girl gang together!

Q Tell us about the importance of winning an Emmy®?

Representation and inclusion is in the DNA of the programs we make, so the recognition that comes with winning an Emmy® is unifying for the whole cast and crew. It acknowledges that what we created together sets a standard in the industry for excellence and originality. It inspires us to keep pushing new boundaries and back ourselves as creatives.

Q What upcoming projects are you or would you like to be working on next?

Non-fiction programming is where it’s at. It’s a space where we can take more risks and innovate. It lets us tackle important subjects in a variety of ways. I’m excited by the new slate of diverse shows Northern Pictures are launching in 2023, including another season of Love on the Spectrum for Netflix.
