SUMMERY An american family, Otis family, goes to stay with an English family, Umney family . On the floor of the livig room thy found a red stain. At night the twins of the Otis family see a ghost walking in the house. The ghost was saying: red stain, red stain... The ghost is good and he's friendly. His friends are Virginia and twins. The ghost is scary at night and Virginia help him to over come. Virginia dicovers that the ghost was called Si Simon. When the Otis family leaves the house, the cries. Finaly, Otis family saids good bye to all Canterville and go to a church. Virginia best frinds a duke called Cecil. They speek of their country. Cecil saids that in England there are ghots, fairies and elves and they live in the woods. Virginia saids that in America there are witches, they live in the frest and they prepare magic herbs. Cecil gives a white roses to Virginia. When Virginia is resting in the bed, she hears the Sin Simos saying “Virginia I'm in the garden. Now I'm happy and I can sleep every night. I give you this box.� Virginia open the boz and finds diamond ring and the earrings. PERSONAL OPINION The book is very interesting because we think that ghosts are bad but in this book the ghost in good and the book has a happy ending.
