The strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Title: The strange case of Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde. Author: Robert Louis Stevenson. Publisher: Macmillan. This story takes place in London in the XIXth century. It shows both sides of human behavior, and the thin limit that exists between good and bad. Personally I didn’t like this book. I read it before, and it wasn’t very interesting. I liked the part when Mr. Utterson discovered that Jekyll and Hyde were the same person. The worst part of the book is that all happens very slowly, and that makes it hard to read. In the other hand, I liked it because it has a really strong message: good and bad are together in the same person. I would recommend this book because it’s a classic of English literature, and it’s good to know how life was at that age. It’s OK, but not very exciting. This book isn’t very difficult to understand. I would like to ask Stevenson how he got the idea for this book. Name Nationality Profession Appearance Personality Likes/Dislikes

Dr. Jekyll. British. Doctor. Tall and thin. White beard. Glasses. Wears expensive clothes. Friendly, kind, intelligent, observer, big-hearted. Likes meeting his friends, to experiment. Doesn’t like lying and doing bad things.

I liked Mr. Hyde is catched, he enters in Jekyll’s house and he pays the fine. It represents that even the worst person on earth haves a good part.

INTRODUCTION: Mr Utterson, a friend of Dr. Jekyll, hears a strange story about a horrible man called Mr. Hyde. Then, he discovers that his friend Jekyll will let all his goods to Hyde if he dies. DEVELOPMENT: Hyde attacks a person and pays the fine with a cheque signed by Dr. Jekyll. Mr. Utterson feels increasingly curious about what is happening. HEART: Jekyll tells his friend that he cannot get rid of Hyde, and advises him to stay away from him. CONCLUSION: Dr Jekyll made an experiment and take off his bad part and created Hyde. He took an antipoison, but it didn’t help to make Hyde disappear, so he committed suicide.
