Labour Day Highlights Collective Strength IEUA-QNT members and their families united at Labour Day events across the State to celebrate the achievements workers and unions have accomplished to ensure better working conditions in Queensland. This Labour Day also gave the opportunity to again recognise the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day. IEUA-QNT members were part of the International Women’s Day congregation in the march, celebrating the roles women play in the education sector and unions. IEUA-QNT members collectively reinforced the message that school officers must be recognised, reclassified and rewarded for the important work they do in all our schools.
joined together and celebrated after the marches with barbeques and family fun days. If you would like to read more about Labour Day and its history, please visit our website at http://www.qieu.asn.au/621.html
