CATHOLIC EXPERIENCED TEACHER 6 (ET6) CHAPTER BRIEFING 2 (RELIGIOUS INSTITUTE) Cut-off Date for Eligible ET6 Applicants Fast Approaching Contact your Employer for Dates Ensure you understand your eligibility for ET6 Dear Colleagues The closing date for Experienced Teacher 6 (ET6) applications for many Religious Institute schools is Tuesday, 31 August 2010. Significant eligibility transition provisions in 2010 mean any teacher who has four years experience at Band 3 Step 4 should apply. Transitional arrangements are less favourable in future years. Eligible teachers who hold Positions of Added Responsibility (PAR), part-time employees and relief staff should submit their application by the closing date. Successful applicants in this round will be back paid until 1 July 2010. The new ET6 schedule will see experienced teachers under ET6 earning the following salaries and allowances from:
1 July 2010 - $74,814 salary plus $5,784 allowance = $80,598
1 July 2011 - $77,806 salary plus $6,016 allowance = $83,822
1 April 2012 - $77,806 salary plus $6,614 allowance = $84,420
Making an ET6 Application Many RI schools have retained 31 August as the cut off date for application, however applicants working in Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) schools and Downlands, Mary Mackillop, Loreto, Lourdes Hill, Padua and Villanova Colleges have until Thursday, 30 September 2010 to submit their applications. ET6 application forms are available on our website from www.qieu.asn.au/et6forms or by clicking on the link on our Homepage.
