BBA (Full- me; Three years; Affiliated to Bangalore University) The Department of Management offers the innova ve and placement oriented program of professional competency viz. BBA. The department aims at the holis c forma on of world-class leaders with unmatched professional competence and a strong ethical perspec ve and also contributes to the sustained development of men and women, implanted with a spirit of innova on and entrepreneurship. This undergraduate program is designed to build competencies for corporate employment or higher studies. Emphasis is on developing leadership quali es, team management, communica on skills, stress management, me and crises management so as to fulfill the requirements of management execu ves. This program requires whole-hearted involvement of the students to meet the challenges of academic schedules and assignments. The uniqueness of BBA program is in the content, scope of syllabi, teaching methodology and evalua on. The pedagogy adopts various techniques such as group discussions, brain storming sessions, management games, transac on analysis and tackling conflic ng situa ons. B. Com. (Full- me; Three years; Affiliated to Bangalore University) The B. Com. program offered by the Department of Commerce is a three-year para professional under graduate degree program of Bangalore University and accepted well by the industry, Government and private sectors. The curriculum is so designed that it provides students best of opportuni es and a launching pad for careers as well as higher studies in the area of Commerce and Trade. The department acts as a nurturing ground for the holis c development of the students, so that they make effec ve contribu on to society. The excellent academic environment with a judicious mixture of co-curricular and extra-curricular ac vi es empowers the students of B. Com. to thrive in a fast-paced and exci ng learning environment. BCA (Full- me; Three years; Affiliated to Bangalore University) The BCA is a three-year full me undergraduate program offered by the Department of Computer Applica ons. Students keen to join the IT industry can opt for this course. This degree helps the students to get a sound knowledge of computer applica ons with the help of which they can have a perfect launch pad for challenging careers in the field of Informa on Technology. The course is designed to match the industry recruitment requirements.
The college takes pride in claiming that the Department of Computer Applica ons has an excellent and dedicated team of faculty for nurturing the BCA students to make them industry-ready. The department has an exclusive and state-of-the-art computer lab with internet connec vity and necessary so ware installed to facilitate hands-on training. BA (Journalism) (Full- me; Three years; Affiliated to Bangalore University) The face of journalism has undergone a dras c change in the recent years. And this change is both at the na onal and interna onal levels. While the tradi onal print medium con nues to grow, albeit at a slower pace, there have been a whole lot of newer avenues that have emerged for journalism in the electronic media. The liberaliza on and economic reforms have brought a huge demand for professionally trained journalists in major news channels, business channels, newspapers, magazines, websites and journals. There is an acute shortage of professionals who can deliver quality inputs on real me basis. The curriculum prescribed by Bangalore University is well designed to produce high caliber journalists as demanded by the media industry.
Merit Scholarship IFIM College awards scholarship to meritorious students based on their performance in PU/+2 exams and University Examina ons for II and III year of study in various UG Programs. The scholarship amount is adjusted against the fee payable by the students.
IFIM Law College IFIM Law College commits in impar ng legal educa on by nurturing its students to meet the challenges and limitless opportuni es in legal profession, judiciary and academics. BBA. LLB (Full- me; Five years Integrated; Affiliated to KSLU and approved by BCI) This is a pres gious offering/program of IFIM group-a five year integrated course leading to the award of BBA. LLB of Karnataka State Law University (KSLU). It is found that the recruiters have shown their clear preference for an integrated five year program; experts in academics too believe that such a course will produce professionals who will be industry-ready to take up the challenges in an ever-evolving scenario. The course has been nicely devised and structured by KSLU. The IFIM Law college will further add value by laying huge emphasis on giving hands-on training to students through Moot Courts, Cross Courts, Internships both in the legal and corporate arena and various other personality building ac vi es. The enduring philosophy at IFIM is to keep abreast of the changes that are taking place in legisla ve laws and corporate prac ces. Big cket changes have taken place or are about to take place - the new Company Law, GST, DTC et al.
