The IFM Summer School proposes a series of one-week courses geared towards small groups of students (maximum of 25 per group). These stimulating and varied programs include lectures from IFM professors and talks from experts in the field, and visits to cultural locations (museums and galleries) as well as to some of the most significant or innovative stores and retail spaces. Programs are taught by IFM professors and expert practitioners from the sector. These are stand-alone programs, each can be taken on its own or in combination with others.

The Summer School is open to all applicants of 18 years or older who are currently enrolled in a full-time higher education program. The junior program is open to French-speaking students between 15 and 18 years old. No prior knowledge of the fashion industry is necessary. Courses are delivered in English or in French; the junior programs are exclusively in French.
