The IFM Summer School is geared towards small groups of students (25 maximum) who are passionate about fashion and its stakes, and who come from different cultural, academic and geographic backgrounds. The programs will allow a better understanding of the cultural and economic aspects of the creative industries (fashion, luxury, design, beauty and cosmetics) through the exploration of major markets, brands and their histories, the processes of creative design, innovation and manufacturing at work in this key economic sector. The programs include lectures, workshops, talks from experts in the field, and guided visits to cultural locations as well as the on-site analysis of some of the most significant or innovative stores and retail spaces. Two programs are also offered in partnership with the prestigious Central St Martins College of Art and Design in London, each lasting two weeks (one in London and one in Paris): a general culture program to understand the creative trends in the two great fashion capitals, and a program dedicated to fashion design students to help them develop and express their creative project.
