EYELASH ENHANCEMENT Eyelash enhancement increases the quality of lashes grown, leaving you with longer, thicker and darker lashes. This eye-opening product is easy to use as well. Before you go to bed, apply the product, brush or applicator provided to the base of the upper lashes (the product will be distributed to the lower lashes while you sleep). Results for many begin to appear as soon as eight weeks and one can expect to see best results anywhere between twelve to sixteen weeks. FACIAL FILLERS Like the name implies, fillers temporarily “fill� areas of soft tissue to reduce wrinkles, fill creases and create a subtle contour to the face. The most common facial regions for treatment with injected fillers are the smile lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds). Injectables alone are not always sufficient for severe surface wrinkles on the face. Therefore, your provider may suggest a variety of treatment options. Facial fillers are injectable products and are not suitable for all patients. Your healthcare provider will discuss with you the potential risks and benefits of the various fillers. INTENSE PULSED LIGHT Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment which uses short bursts of light energy. This procedure can reduce skin discolorations including redness, broken capillaries and sun-induced brown spots. Photorejuvenation simultaneously decreases the signs of aging skin such as fine lines and wrinkles. IPL uses an adjustable range of wavelengths making it an effective option to address multiple conditions. Although improvement can be seen in as little as one visit, multiple procedures spaced 3-4 weeks apart may be necessary. The process is pretty quick and involves minimal downtime. IPL infrequently causes some side effects including mild discomfort during treatment and skin turning red, brown flaking, mild swelling and feeling a little sore immediately after the procedure. Side effects are usually minimal and typically fade within two weeks of the procedure.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL Temporary hair removal methods like shaving and waxing can be painful and offer no long term solutions. Laser hair removal is a way to permanently reduce unwanted hair, whether it be on your legs, underarms, bikini area or elsewhere. Laser hair removal works by targeting the melanin within the hair follicle; a series of several treatments may be needed. On average, it takes up to six treatments to see best results. Following your laser hair removal treatment you may be slightly red, but this is usually minimal and gone in a few hours. Other possible side effects can include blistering and discoloration.

LASER SKIN RESURFACING Over time, factors such as sun damage, genetics, diet, and repetitive muscle movement can contribute to the formation of lines and wrinkles in the face. The development of pigmentation anomalies, such as “age spots,” or acne scars can cause skin to lose its smooth, youthful appearance. Laser skin resurfacing can reduce changes associated with sun exposure and aging. Laser resurfacing also helps to stimulate skin to become healthy. Laser light penetrates to a precise, controlled depth within the skin. As the resurfaced areas heal, a new layer of skin is produced. Less invasive, non-surgical procedures are becoming increasingly popular among facial cosmetic patients. This is not surprising – the chance to reduce some signs of aging with a relatively short procedure, involving minimal down time and a quicker recovery, is very appealing. Typically one or more treatments are needed to see best results. Possible side effects can include temporary redness, blistering, discoloration and temporary bruising. NEUROTOXINS Neurotoxins relax the muscle and prevent its activity. This helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles between the eyes and crow's feet. Neurotoxins are used cosmetically to reduce wrinkles and provide a smoother appearance of the area between the eyes. The procedure is relatively quick and there is minimal downtime. The effects develop in days and will typically last from three to four months. Occasionally, we may schedule a follow up visit two weeks after the first treatment. Neurotoxins are serious drugs and your healthcare provider will discuss with you the safety considerations associated with their use, including the risk of toxin effect spreading beyond the treatment area.

MICRO-NEEDLING Automated Micro-Needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine for treating the appearance of fine lines, acne scars and improvement of the skin’s overall appearance. During this procedure, tiny needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. SCLEROTHERAPY Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure done by your healthcare provider to treat uncomplicated spider veins and uncomplicated reticular veins. The treatment involves the injection of a solution into the affected veins. A prescription medicine is used in sclerotherapy and is administered by a healthcare provider to treat two types of veins: • Uncomplicated spider veins (very small varicose veins ≤ 1 mm in diameter) •U ncomplicated small varicose veins (1 to 3 mm in diameter) known as reticular veins A typical sclerotherapy session lasts 20 minutes. One injection is usually administered per inch with multiple injections per session. SKIN TIGHTENING Thermage® is a non-invasive procedure that’s clinically proven to help contour skin for an overall younger-looking appearance. The treatment delivers natural-looking results with little downtime – on all skin colors, on and off the face, all in a single procedure.
