Riley Reclaims the PGA of Alberta Championship
The PGA of Alberta Championship sponsored by Club Car, TaylorMade Golf & adidas golf washosted at the River Bend G&RA. Competitors posted some stellar final roundsmaking for an exciting day watching the leaderboard. The Champion thisyear isRiley Fleming of Lynx Ridge GC who carded an absolutely scorching round of 7-under par 65 to take back the hardware from WesHeffernan (Dynamic Motion Golf Performance Centre) after relinquishing the title last year. Heffernan Holds On to Win at Lacombe G&CC The last Golf Supply House event of the season took place August 26th at the picturesque Lacombe G&CC. The competitorsenjoyed a course in mint condition and some beautiful summer weather. The Champion wasWesHeffernan (Dynamic Motion Golf Performance Centre) who carded an excellent 6-under par 65 with 2 eaglesand 5 birdies. The PGA of Alberta announced a new partnership with Schooley Mitchell, a Canadian company specializing in cost reduction consulting, for the next three years. "The PGA of Alberta isexcited to have Schooley Mitchell join our Association asa partner," said Robert Rousselle, PGA of Alberta Executive Director.
