INSIDE THIS ISSUE In this month's edition of The Scorecard,we are pleased to be able to recognize more championsfor 2020 in British Columbia Golf competitionsin a year when, as mentioned last month, it looked very much like that was not going to be a possibility. BC Golf 's Brad Ziemer was on hand to provide physical distance coverage of the BC Women's Amateur (page 14), where 13-year old Michelle Liu became the youngest ever winner of the event. The BC Women's Amateur, Mid-Am and Senior Championshipswere all held concurrentlyat Campbell River Golf & Country Club and you can read Brad's wrap-ups on those in this issue as well. The BC Men's Seniors were contested at Sunshine Coast PG 8 | SEP 2020
G&CC in September to conclude the 2020 Championship season. That event featured its own dramatic finish, crowning first-time BC Golf Championship winner Norm Bradley (page 12). Meanwhile, with golf being one of the few activities available to people this summer, and travel restrictionslooking like they'll be in place a while longer, many BC golf facilities are preparing for a much busier than normal Fall season (page 38). We have news from the BC Blind Golf 'Cloud' Championship (page 30), as well as a world record round of 16-under par 55 recorded by a 31-year old in Jenks, Oklahoma (page 18). Enjoy your golf and please stay safe.
